The RCSC, which has been in existence for over 50 years and was recently awarded the "Best Regional Club" by Rutgers
University, offers it members many benefits including:
Events - Events for RCSC have members meeting for local happy hours, visiting wineries, roving on foodie tours, watching
RU football games, attending local ball games, and taking in the theater. These events included seeing old friends and
meeting plenty of new ones.
Annual Scholarship - Each year the club awards a partial scholarship to a deserving student living in the Southern California
area.
Scholarship Endowment - RCSC has successfully established an Endowment which has grown to more than $143,000!

The RCSC is an active organization that allows its members the opportunity to meet, network and stay linked to Rutgers
University. While all of these activities are run by a group of Rutgers Alumni volunteers from a variety of class years and
representing all of Rutgers' various colleges, the RCSC relies solely on donations for its funding. The donations received are
used for such expenses such as website fees and club events. Donations may be made with a check payable to "Rutgers
Club of Southern California" and mailed to the Club Treasurer: Marty Lipman, 6330 Bovey Ave., Reseda, CA 91335.
