The RCSC, which has been in existence for over 50 years and was recently awarded the "Best Regional Club" by Rutgers University,
offers it members many benefits including:
Targum West - The RCSC's quarterly newsletter with articles about RU activities here in SoCal and beyond.
RCSC Directory - A biennial comprehensive Membership Directory which allows you to find other Rutgers Alum that share your
personal or professional interests. It's also a good way to find a former classmate or people from your old hometown.
Events - Events for RCSC had members brunching on the Queen Mary, winning money at the Santa Anita Day at the Races and
eating like royalty while cruising along Newport Harbor. These events included seeing old friends and meeting plenty of new ones.
Annual Scholarship - Each year the club awards a partial scholarship to a deserving student living in the Southern California area.
Scholarship Endowment - RCSC has successfully established an Endowment which has grown to more than $99,000 in less than 6
short years!
The RCSC is an active organization that allows its members the opportunity to meet, network and stay linked to Rutgers University.
While all of these activities are run by a group of Rutgers Alumni volunteers from a variety of class years and representing all of
Rutgers' various colleges, the RCSC relies solely on donations for its funding. The donations received are used for such expenses
such as a biennial membership directory, assembling the Targum West, copying and postage charges.
If you would like to join the Club (our membership year begins in September of each year, just like the RU classes) -- please print out
and send the membership form with your check made payable to "Rutgers Club of Southern California" directly to the Club Treasure:
